ESCorp Zone Cleanup Missions

Description

ESCorp cleaning zones are special missions that you get if you choose ESCorp over FURI. Cleaning missions require you to clear all squares within the green clearing zones on your map. Your missions page also tells you the coordinates of the zone. If you successfully clear each square, you are awarded with minerals and occasionally new missions. These missions cease if you defect to FURI.

Specifics

Cleanup missions begin very early in the game and, for people who choose to stick with ESCorp, will always haunt your mission page since that moment. Cleanup mission zones are randomly generated and as such differ from prisoner to prisoner, however there are some general trends to be noted. The more cleanup missions you complete, the further away from the origin and the more spread out they seem to get. The cleanup missions also tend to get bigger, and as you progress it gets more and more likely for you to get large zones rather than smaller ones. It would still be possible to get a 2x2 cleanup zone very late in the game, but this is a rare occurence.

The generation of a cleanup mission does not take into account whether it would overlap with a previous one, or how many squares have already been completed within that zone. In the event that you have already completed all of the sectors in that zone, you are still required to play one of those sectors once more to 'complete' the cleanup.

Cleanup missions will earn you 10 minerals per square, however you will only receive payment after completing an entire sector. So a 2x2 sector would earn you 40 minerals, but you would only get this after completing all four levels.

For ESCorp members, the number of cleanup missions completed is what is used to determine your Rank.

The size of your cleanup mission generally increases as you complete more and more of them. The following numbers approximately list the earliest that you could expect a cleanup mission of each size.

If you find an earlier one please fill it in. :)

2x2: Your 1st cleanup mission

3x3: Your 6th cleanup mission

4x4: Your 11th cleanup mission

5x5: Your 19th cleanup mission

6x6: Your 31st cleanup mission  [6x6 is the largest possible size]

The cleanup missions serve another important purpose in deciding effectively which path you choose in the game. In order to stay with ESCorp and gain access to areas outside the Karbonis Belt, you must complete 52 of these cleanup missions, by which stage you will be receiving many 6x6 areas. Yet more cleanups are required after this to gain other missions. If you do not wish to stick with ESCorp then you may leave the belt without doing any cleanup missions, and these missions will disappear from your page never to be seen again.

I changed the page name from Cleanup Zone to Zone Cleanup, this removed all comments.
Please look out for links to this page and change the name, as they are now all dead links.

do you want me to add: "at about your 11th cleanup mission you will get 4x4 squares."
or "on your 11th cleanup mission you will get your first 4x4 square."
do you want me to add the counters, or whatever you call them?

well.. im not sure exactly what you're talking about :S
but this is a wiki, so the idea is if you have an idea, go ahead and edit it in, its not like you can do any harm as all versions are saved and can be returned to at any point.
and im sure whatever it is you have to add is something valid =]

Title should say 'ESCorp' instead of "EScorp".

I added a background color to the first rank images so they can be seen more clearly.

My first 5x5 clean up mission is the 19th one. Don't know if it is the same for all :)
